Cycle 3 (Sept 6th to Sept 13th) Assignments
Assignment 1: Grade Level Photo, Due September 8th
1. Select your ten best shots and upload them to the correct academic/grade level folder in yearbookavenue.com. If the photo isn't a high enough resolution, it won't upload--if that happens, chose another photo to upload.
2. Label them in the standard way.

I'll only be able to give you credit if you label them correctly with your initials.
3. Keep the photos backed up somewhere--on a external drive, for example.
Assignment 2: Comment on Another Student's Photo in Weebly, Due September 12th
Read the week 2 blog entry of your partner. Write a comment explaining how their photo demonstrates one other photographic principle. For example, if your partner wrote about how their photo demonstrated "enough stuff", you might write about how it demonstrates vectors, or leading lines.
If you really don't see another principle that the photo is demonstrating, you can describe what the photographer might have done differently to add another photographic element to their photo.
Optional: Feel free to comment on anything else that you notice--the labeling, the exposure, the focus, etc.
If your partner has two commentators, don't repeat anything the other commentator has written.
Here again is the list of elements:
a. Narrative photo
position condition
face case
enough stuff
b. Rule of thirds
c. Leading Lines
d. Vectors
e. Zoom In
f. Framing
g. Cropping
h. Color
Assignment 3: Take Photos of High Schoolers!
